Hi... I said

Something crushed under my foot as I probably stepped onto another mile, bringing my mind back to consciousness.
Wait, -How far did I walk..., for how long..., where was I?
A coffee bean, my sole revealed.

I realised myself standing in an unknown place of the french city. The streets were narrow and there was no sensible distinction between what the pavement and what the road was, of which its uneven surface made by poorly shaped blackened stones became a stumbling risk for the unwary pedestrian.
Iron light posts elegantly forged and coated in thick black varnish casted a yellowish light besides the early stage of the day and, needed though, as per the low radiation of an overcast winter sky.
And after these realisations needed to relocate myself in space and time due to the aforementioned state of mind I was, I continued to walk without a clear idea as where to go or what to do. I had not walked much until I noticed a few more coffee beans scattered over the street, a bit of an unusual place among tailoring and writing tool's shops.

Not many people on the streets...

An aroma was caught by, an aroma that resulted pleasant to me, surprisingly. The previous coffee findings started to make much more sense. I just followed it, or maybe I let myself be atracted by it. I arrived at the conclusion of a coffee restaurant nearby. I searched...

A small and charming business was the emanating source. I did not have to decide too hard to wish an unusual cup of coffee in my life. I approached. I walked in.
A few round tables and a even less few people in, well decorated and the old wooden floors made the hidden coffee shop a very welcoming place.

Struck by a lighting.

My inside crumbled.

-Hi...
